Colourful Verner Panton

Verner Panton had been contemplating the idea for what eventually became the Panthella for quite some time. He spent hours and hours exploring the transparency and colors of the materials from which the lamp was constructed. Panton’s own favourite was the chrome version.

Not like the others

Verner Panton stood out from his peers with his distinct style, contrasting typical functionalist and often colourless Scandinavian design.
Unlike his contemporaries, Panton embraced vibrant colours in his work, including his lamps. Apart from his pendants, tables and floor lamps, Panton did not use white in his work.
