Louis Poulsen x Home in Heven

 

First unveiled at 3daysofdesign in 2023, the Louis Poulsen x Home in Heven collection features 7 exquisite art pieces, created and produced by the internationally renowned glass artists, Home in Heven. Drawing inspiration from heritage Louis Poulsen designs, these innovative and creative interpretations are made of mouthblown glass and crafted in Home in Heven’s signature design style.

The collection

The collection consists of 7 pieces, that are interpretations of some of the most iconic lighting designs by Poul Henningsen and Vilhelm Lauritzen, all of which will be available for auction from the 21st to 28th March 2024. During the week of the auction, visitors can see the collection at Home in Heven’s store, at 143 East 13th Street in New York City, which is open to the public Wednesday - Friday from 1-6pm and Saturday/ Sunday from 1-4pm

The auction

The unique pieces, which were first exhibited at Louis Poulsen’s headquarters during 3daysofdesign in 2023, are going to be sold at auction on the international online auction site 1stDibs, allowing Poul Henningsen & Vilhelm Lauritzen fans around the globe to bid for their favourite pieces.

The auction begins on the 21st March and will run until the 28th March 2024, with a portion of the proceeds going to Hilltop Artists in Washington, a youth arts development nonprofit with a specific focus on glassblowing.

Home in Heven is the creative lovechild of Breanna Box & Peter Dupont. With an otherworldly sense of design, they create unique and exquisite homeware and fashion that combines the classic craft of glassblowing with daring and original design—many of which feature their signature horns, swirls or tentacles that give each piece the recognisable heven style.
