In 1958, Poul Henningsen designed the PH Artichoke for the Langelinie Pavilion, a modernist Copenhagen restaurant, in which the PH Artichoke continues to enchant guests to this day.
The sculptural design and exceptional light it provides has afforded the pendant it's status as an international design icon.
Each of the 72 leaves is carefully mounted in the perfect position, by hand, to ensure that the light is glare-free and the light source cannot be seen from any angle.
An iconic design that is truly timeless, the PH Artichoke is a beautiful addition to every home.
The anniversary edition is painted matte white on the outside, with a pale rose hue on the inside as a tribute to the original Poul Henningsen design, that was copper with pale rose inside. This fixture provides a soft, warm light, while the frame made of metallised brass add an elegant touch.
Every PH Artichoke Anniversary Edition is engraved with a unique ID numbe and is only available while stocks last, as only 300 pendants with individual engraved numbers have been made.
