The sharp corner building at the prominent address in the middle of Copenhagen has undergone a major facelift. After a year of extensive renovations, this classic building from 1875 radiates original charm and renewed functionality.
Project Manager Jeanette Olai, who works at Sydbank at Kongens Nytorv herself, says:
"We place great emphasis on ensuring that the conditions for employees and customers are optimal, and this partly means ensuring the light is exactly right. In the working areas we’ve chosen lamps with a colour temperature of 4000K. That’s close to the bright, white colour of daylight, and is therefore perceived as a fresh, active light to work in. Following the renovation we have experienced a far better working environment, with our employees reporting less dry eye and headaches. So we can yet again conclude that carefully considered and executed lighting is worth all the effort – both aesthetically and functionally.”
