Design remains – technology changes
LP Icon was designed in 1999 by Danish designer Mads Odgård, and the overall design has been kept as it was when it first left the Louis Poulsen production facilities in Denmark more than 20 years ago. The inside of the lamp is a different story. A lot has happened under the dome throughout the years as new technological breakthroughs have allowed us to continually optimize the lamp’s hardware, making it even more energy-efficient, sustainable, and easy to maintain.
