A design classic that remains as compelling as ever. The enduringly simple design of Louis Poulsen’s Albertslund Mini Post continues to prove a winning choice for new projects, more than 50 years after it was created.

The fixture illuminates landscaped footpaths in this residential development in Denmark, which enjoys sweeping views across the Øresund Strait to Sweden.
Albertslund Mini Post was created by Jens Møller-Jensen in 1963 for a project in the Danish town of Albertslund. Designed to be functional and economical, it has become a classic. Albertslund’s design is based on an anti-glare ring, three bolts, a conical reflector and the top shade, which services as the primary reflector.
The fixture is designed to emit symmetrical glare-free light downwards, with a top shade to direct the light down, white-painted reflectors for diffuse and comfortable light distribution, and a reflector ring to prevent glare. Residents in Sjølundsparken now benefit from sensitively lit footpaths, complemented by a classic piece of urban design.
