The first extraordinary Poul Henningsen design in the Limited Edition series is the PH 31/2 Copper Pendant. A stylish PH pendant with a beautiful top shade in copper directing the light downwards, while the two opal white shades ensure a soft, diffused light.

Two versions of the PH 3½-2½ Copper Table lamp create an elegant series of copper and opal white lamps along with the PH 3½-3 Copper Pendant from 2014. One version features three opal white shades, providing a soft, glare-free light, while the other version with a copper top shade offers a more downward-directed light

The copper and opal white sequence, which were the first to be featured in the collectable Limited Edition series, is completed with the two PH 3½-2½ Copper Floor lamps in 2016. As with the table lamps, one version has three opal white shades, while another comes with a copper top shade, showcasing the merits of PHs three-shade system by using different materials to shape light.

The PH 3½-3 limited edition lamp highlights Henningsen’s tendency to incorporate golden hues into Scandinavian decor. In other words – to capture the golden hour. The warm amber shades have an incredibly inviting effect and omit a calming expression, meeting his need to minimize harsh white light.

PH table lamps originated in the 1920s and have been much-loved for decades. This 2018 limited edition PH lamp combines the iconic three-shade system in blown-amber glass from Italy and a lightly brushed brass frame. Both glass and brass are beautifully warm in tone – effortlessly pairing and creating an understated, yet striking, piece of lighting design.

First developed in the 1940s during the war, ‘The Water Pump’ is an icon of PH lamps – named due to the tilting arm that can move up and down. This stunning limited edition PH floor lamp reimagines a classic with shades of hand-blown amber glass. It's a striking look coupled with the beautiful brass frame, and the amber emits a warm glow to create a cozy environment.

While this 2020 limited edition PH table lamp took this iconic design back to classic basics, its details give it a special glow beyond its amber shades. As with the 2019 ‘Water Pump’ floor lamp, the stand of the PH 2/1 limited edition is made of untreated brass. Over time, this material forms a patina, which adds a distinctive look to each lamp and offers a unique feature for any space.

The ‘Question Mark’ lamp originated in the 1920s and was reimagined as a limited edition PH lamp in 2021. This sublime table lamp features a fine stem that curves up and around, forming a question mark. Of course, this striking stem is paired with the legendary three-shade system. The lampshades, made of opal glass, have a glossy surface to ensure the shades mirror the surroundings and create life. The insides of these opal shades are matt to minimize reflections and glare from the light source.

This year saw the release of two limited edition PH lamps – the 3/3 pendant and the 3/2 table lamp. Both pendant and lamp boast timeless color combinations of brass, opal, and glass. Adding one or both to any room will create a comfortable and cozy light and serene atmosphere.

The 2023 PH Luna lamp limited edition follows a similar curvature to the ‘Question Mark’, with beautiful details including brushed brass and three mouth-blown glass shades. Designed by Henningsen originally as a bedside lamp, the body of this stunning table lamp welcomes the light to create a functional yet elegantly ornamental lighting solution.

The PH 2/1 Table lamp features warm terracotta-coloured glass and stems from an extensive series launched by Louis Poulsen in 1930 aimed towards private homes. The new lamps were smaller and more affordable, making them easier to place around the home. They were available in amber, red and yellow-coloured glass, besides the classic opal white, matte or metal shade variants, providing a variety of choices to add warmth and style to people's homes.
