The display counter is clad in pale yellow tiles, while the floors are in whitewashed wood, and walls are finished in a similar effect. The whole place feels like you could reach out and take a bite out of it. With Cirque, the architects were able to incorporate Juana Limón’s lighting in this concept.

Made from spun aluminium, Cirque’s design was inspired by Copenhagen’s famous Tivoli Gardens. Its shape references Tivoli’s onion-shaped domes, while the stripes of pastel colour recall the blur of a spinning carousel. Cirque’s white inner reflector ensures that its light is soft and glare-free, complementing its outward appearance.

The result is lighting that is seamlessly integrated into this distinctive space. It’s a great example of when lighting design aligns perfectly with an architect’s vision.
