Åpent Bakeri - Skillebekk — Oslo, Norway

Started in Oslo in 1998, Åpent Bakeri (Open Bakery), is a Norwegian artisanal bakery chain founded on a belief in craftsmanship, traditional methods and pure, natural ingredients. The Skillebekk outlet dates from the 1930s and elements such as antique French shelves and an old desk were retained from the previous cafe. The lighting is largely from the VL range originally designed for Louis Poulsen by leading Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in the late 1930s.
