The VL 45 Radiohus Pendant was originally designed by Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in partnership with Louis Poulsen for his gesamtkunstwerk at the Danish Broadcasting House, also known as Radiohuset. The original design from the 1940s features a brass suspension and mouthblown three-layer glass shade, a classic and elegant combination. Historical photos capture the VL 45 Radiohus above the Eames Lounge Chair in the iconic American couple Charles and Ray Eames' home and studio in 1950s Los Angeles. Today, the design maintains its lighting benefits, and sophisticated look and feel that suit today's interior trends so well.
